Egypt is the land of civilization

- Giza Pyramids are the most famous pyramids in Egypt, there are 9 ones: the great one for King Kufu (Cheops), the second one for his son King Chephren and Menkaw-re the grandson is the builder of it and the six small pyramids we called them subsidiary pyramids for wives and daughters. They show us the power and wealth of the pharaoh in the old kingdom

- Saqqara Step Pyramid as it is the oldest one, unique in it's design was built since more than 5000 years ago during the third dynasty and visit Two Mastabas (tombs) to see carved scenes on its walls dates back to 3000 year B.C. (2-3 Hours). The pyramid started out as a mastaba. It was then expanded six different times to six levels to the height of over 200 feet. The architect credited with it's designs was the kings vizier named Imhotep. This marks a large step in architectural design and size of buildings among early people.

- Visit Dahshur Bent and Red Pyramids and go inside the biggest one, as it was built during the forth dynasty belongs to Senefru father of Khufu. Then we will have some rest and take lunch in pyramids area and visit Carpet School (for free) to see kids while making hand- made carpets.
* Dahshur: The first pyramid encountered is the Red (North) pyramid of Sneferu. The name derives from the color of the limestone used to build the pyramid. The Red pyramid is extremely large, almost as large as Khufu's Pyramid. The pyramid is entered from the north.
* The Bent (South) Pyramid of Sneferu is located about 2 km south. It is one of the rare pyramids were most of it's casing is still intact. This is considered the first true pyramid in Egypt. The bent shape, which occurs about half way up, is believed to be caused by sudden change in plans by the Ancient Egyptians.
